Bodyline Wig Review #1

So over a year ago (May 2012) I bought a wig from bodyline.co.jp and reviewed them on my tumblog, but I think it would be better in this format instead. So here we go!

The order took 7 business days to arrive by AIR mail, which was super fast. When I got the order, the package was only slightly damaged and battered, but it was still in very good condition.

I ordered WIG009 in lpul for $27 and here is the packaging:

It came in the standard wig packaging with hairnet and all and it wasn't messy or tangled from shipping. (The color is muuuuch better in person, but different from bodyline's stock photo color)

I was very impressed with the quality of the wig the second I opened it! It has the perfect amount of shine, and is very natural looking in natural sunlight or under moonlight. People actually think it's my real hair! The color is not accurately represented in these pictures; the purple is a little more on the pink side. In terms of styling, the bangs are a bit long, but look great brushed to the side. The wig is also medium thickness, with the wefts not showing between fibers. The curls for the most part were nice, except some were a little wonky. It has a standard skin top and adjustable straps as well. It is just as long as the stock photo model's wig. The fibers are also really soft.
I can say that after over a year of wearing this wig it has held up pretty great! I've kept it in the same zip lock bag it came in originally for storage. The curls have kept pretty well and it does not really shed. Just like other long wigs, after a couple wears a sort of matted section has formed at the nape of the neck under the wig, but is not noticeable at all. I have worn this wig on roller coasters (with the adjustable straps on tight of course) and it still looked awesome.

Here is a picture of the wig on:

As you can see, there is barely any shine. Also, the color is accurately represented here. ^_^

For $27, this wig was much more than I ever expected and has held up great throughout the many times I have worn it. This wig purchase from Bodyline made me eager to buy more wigs from them, which I have and will review in a later post. So all in all, I would recommend their wigs since Bodyline's quality and prices are great!
